I've never bothered with adding the UPC in the metadata of WAV files and as far as I see, there is not a dedicated field for UPC but I could be wrong on this. It also transposes some other things like CD-Text to the appropriate ID3 v1 and v2 metadata fields. It will place the ISRC code in the aXML chuck and ID3v2 field along with some other things that you can remove if you don't want it.
